KoboldCon and Con of Champions Events Set

2020 is the year of Virtual Cons!

It is strange. Last fall, I was discussing expanding our convention schedule with Rob Kuntz while having a social/business call with him. I was looking at expanding to at least 4 conventions this year, with Origins, MARCON, and Gary Con XII being my main 3. MARCON 55 was sadly cancelled with no virtual option. Origins has a virtual convention scheduled, with the physical convention rescheduled for October. Gary Con XII went virtual and was a massive success in my opinion, with many players who had never played online (including myself) enjoying the virtual convention. After the fun I had, I said to myself, "Self, why not do a few more?" KoboldCon went virtual and I jumped on board with 3 events: Friday, May 1, 2020 at 11 am Mountain Time: J. Halk Games Kobolds!

Friday, May 1, 2020 at 7 pm Mountain Time: Design Q&A/AMA with Beer!

Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 11 am Mountain TIme: Draffin Keep

I also noticed Tabletop Events, the great convention booking site, was having a virtual convention to raise funds to keep them going due to the loss of business from conventions cancelling. jumped on that as well, as I love TTE and they are much needed in the community. Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 7 pm Central Time: J. Halk Games: Who We Are, What We Do

Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 11 am Central Time: Lair of Elaacrimalicros

Monday, May 25, 2020 at 11 am Central Time: The Brewmeister's Minions

That is 2 seminars, 3 OSRIC/First Edition Fantasy sessions, and 1 5e session (Lair of Elaacrimalicros). Nice way to bookend the month of May. All events can be booked at their respective sites, just check the RSVP link on the events section of our home page.

Heading into summer, I am not sure what we are following up with, but rest assured, there will be more conventions this year...hopefully in person at some point. Happy Gaming! Joe

Joe here. Okay, so we've been pretty absent for most of the last year+. However, we have good reasons. In January 2022, I tore up my left knee and required surgery. We still made it to Gary Con XIV th
